The entire piece is treated with a deep ebonized finish, giving the wood a rich, matte black tone that unifies the carved surface. This finish accentuates the rugged texture of the hand work, showcasing a surface with tool marks while allowing the authentic grain and natural fissures to remain prominent. A significant natural crack runs through the center of the top, celebrated as an honest marker of the tree's history and material strength.
Built for structural stability, the stool rests on thick, blocky legs that maintain a grounded, primitive presence.
