Lovely silver 1920s-1930s Art Deco pendant with a faceted carnelian and floral decoration + original chain! (800 + 'V'). Marked: 'V' = Dutch tax mark for silver objects of 'foreign origin' i.e. unknown/foreign origin (1906-1953) and tested for silver. N.B. Carnelian, also known as cornelian, is associated with vitality, courage, creativity, and life force. In ancient Egypt it was seen as a healing and protective stone, even linked to the goddess Isis.
