Meu sósia e eu by Oscar Niemeyer, 1st edition (1986) in Portuguese, published by Editora Revan, Rio de Janeiro, hardcover square format 26 × 26 cm, 176 pages, in reasonable condition.
Description from the seller
Published in 1986, Meu sósia e eu gathers texts and works by Oscar Niemeyer around architecture, urbanism, sculpture, and drawing. This hardbound book in a square format of 26 x 26 cm presents abundant iconography, alternating black-and-white photographs and color reproductions, often full-page.
The illustrated cover, with a minimalist black-and-red design, is characteristic of the architect’s modernist aesthetic. The interior is clean and well preserved, with no visible tears. However, there are signs of use on the boards and the dust jacket (diffuse stains, light wear, rounded corners), as well as a pronounced crease on a flyleaf. The binding remains solid and the overall condition is good.
A reference work on the body of work of the creator of Brasília, representative of Brazilian modernism in the second half of the 20th century.
