Twelve new beige linen napkins, each 42 × 42 cm, from Veneto, Italy, dating to 2000–2010, with hand‑embroidered floral motifs and entirely handmade reticella lace edging.
Description from the seller
Refined set consisting of 12 napkins in pure linen, new and never used, an expression of high-level artisanal craftsmanship.
Each napkin is adorned with a handmade embroidery featuring a stylized floral design, executed with a fill stitch and a grass stitch.
The embroidery, tone-on-tone, is sober and elegant.
The edge is finished with a precious needle-point reticella lace, made entirely by hand: a slow and intricate workmanship, recognizable by the regularity of the mesh and the fineness of the knots, which gives the napkin an authentically antique character and great textile value.
Ideal for accompanying antique or vintage tablecloths that lack napkins, especially tablecloths of Venetian tradition (such as Burano), with which they converse in a harmonious way without overpowering them.
Perfect even when used individually, to stylishly set the table for special moments: elegant aperitifs, afternoon tea, intimate mise en place, or formal entertaining tables.
