Thorens - TD-165 Turntable

The renowned Thorens TD 165, a classic with a clear, stable sound and a very neutral character. The musical characteristics are very good.

As can be seen in the photos, this is a well-preserved specimen; there are almost no signs of use. The fabric cover is also in good condition; it does have a crack on top—see the last photo.
Due to the repair of the hinge points, the fabric cover is 100% functional again.

Equipped with the nice Philips GP400 cartridge with a good stylus.

Comes with a NEW drive belt.


The Thorens TD-165 is a belt-driven turntable.
It is equipped with a sturdy AC motor and a very heavy turntable weighing almost 3 kg.
The sub chassis, consisting of the turntable platter and tonearm.
Suspended on three springs, which reduces the player's susceptibility to vibrations from the motor and external sources. This is one of the factors that contribute to the great sound that Thorens is so well known for.

It is carefully packed and shipped insured.
