A lot of seven handmade ceramic bowls and small dishes from the Netherlands, in various shapes and glazes, dated to circa 1950–1980, attributed to KH (Kees Hoogendam) and FS (Frans Slot); condition good to fair with minor signs of wear and glaze craquelé.
Description from the seller
Beautiful lot of 7 handmade ceramic bowls/small cups in various shapes and glazes, originating from a Dutch studio ceramics.
The lot includes, among others:
- 3 bowl-shaped pieces in natural tones with crazing/engobe and one with red-green band glaze.
On the underside signed/engraved with:
KH, attributed to Kees Hoogendam (born 1941).
- 4 smaller shapes in turquoise/green with relief and textured decoration (e.g., incised/stamped motifs) and a green speckled specimen.
On the underside signed/engraved with:
FS – attributed to Frans Slot (1909–1974)
Nice as a collectible lot, but also usable as small serving bowls, tea bowls, for jewelry, or as decoration in a display cabinet.
Condition:
Good to reasonable vintage state:
Normal signs of use and wear on the footing rings (underside)
Localized crazing (part decorative/typical with this type of glaze)
Possibly small surface spots/minor chips on edges.
No large cracks seen in the photos.

Diameter: 13 cm and 10 cm and 9.5 cm.
