This pitcher is a work by Egidio Casagrande (1911-1962), a famous Italian designer and sculptor, made in hand-hammered copper.
This is a modernist piece dating from the 1950s. The design features clean yet dynamic lines, typical of Casagrande's production in Borgo Valsugana.
The pitcher features a bulbous, rounded body with a wide, beak-like spout. The handle is elegantly curved and integrated into the design.
The surface is entirely hammered, a technique that creates a rich, tactile texture, catching light in varying ways.
Thanks to its size and the robustness of the material, this object can be used as a decorative piece or a flower vase.
