Beugeltas with a silver frame by Hendrik Adama, made in Leeuwarden in 1855, featuring a brown velvet purse lining with blue interior, glass and copper bead embroidery, a decoratively engraved and inlaid floral motif on the frame, dimensions 25 x 30 cm, weight 307.2 g, 833/1000 silver, in good condition with some missing fringe.

Description: A particularly fine -large model- purse with a silver frame, fitted with a brown velvet fabric inner pocket with blue lining. The velvet features a beautiful embroidery of a bouquet of flowers, made with glass beads and brass beads. The frame is elegantly decorated with engraved and inlaid flower motifs and opens by snap closure. The chain handle is long enough to carry the bag by hand or on the arm. On the inside there is a name engraved: "Nella Bom, Haamstede".
