Description from the seller
JVC Nivico Model 5500 MW/FM Hi-Fi stereo receiver from the classic hi-fi era. This receiver is known for its warm, musical sound, solid Japanese build quality, and a timeless design with a wooden enclosure.
Model 5500 delivers a dynamic output power of 2 × 20 watts and is suitable for speakers with an impedance of 4 to 16 ohms. Thanks to the wide frequency response and low distortion, this receiver is very well suited for both vinyl, radio, and external audio sources.
The built-in FM tuner with mechanical filters ensures stable reception, good selectivity, and clear stereo separation. The tone control (bass and treble) allows you to tailor the sound to your own taste without altering the character of the music.
With its classic front panel, analog tuning and solid knobs, this is not only a well-sounding amplifier, but also a real eye-catcher in a vintage audio setup.

Warranty
The audio equipment we offer is largely vintage, 40 years old or older. Each device is carefully inspected by us, professionally cleaned, and thoroughly tested before it is offered for sale.
Despite this careful inspection, it may happen that a defect occurs upon receipt or after some time. Because of the age of the equipment, such malfunctions can occur unexpectedly and are unfortunately outside our control.
For this reason we cannot provide any warranty on vintage equipment. We understand this can be inconvenient and we think it is important to be transparent and honest about it. Of course, we do our utmost to deliver each device in as good a condition as possible.
We package our products very carefully so that the risk of transport damage remains low.
We also arrange transport insurance for every shipment.
