This characterful Continental Standard is a sturdy, fully metal typewriter with the distinctive industrial look from the first half of the 20th century. The model is known for its solid German mechanics and elegant, functional design.

The machine features a classic black lacquer finish with chrome accents and round glass keys. A timeless collectible that is both decorative and functional.

State & operation

- Keys move smoothly
- The wagon runs correctly on the rails
- The mechanism responds properly and works very well.
- With light, age-related signs of wear.
Origin: Germany
- Period: ca. 1920–1940 (1938) Serial number: 610665
- The machine works well; also see the typed section on white paper next to the photos.
Equipped with a new type ribbon, everything is functioning properly.
