Ancient Roman open-work star-shaped gold and garnet earrings, dating to the 1st–2nd century A.D., 3.7 cm long including loop, in excellent condition with a central garnet and five garnet beads, provenance European private collection, acquired in 2020 from the United Kingdom, with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Star shaped bezel finely worked in filigree set with a central garnet and surmounted by five garnet round beads, integral gold loops. Exquisite.
Size: 3.7 cm L each (including loop) - 1 7/16 inch
Material: Gold and garnet, total weight= 6.5 grms
Culture: Roman style , in the style of the c. 1st-2nd Century A.D.
Condition: Intact
Provenance: European private collection, acquired prior to 2000.
