Description from the seller
This 1960s shelf has been redesigned both aesthetically and technically, and today presents itself in a clean, period-typical mid-century look.
The construction pairs warm-toned wood with a delicate metal framework. As part of the redesign, new mounts, hooks, and hangers were added and color-matched. The metal parts are freshly painted and appear calm, even, and stable.
This modular element with an integrated chest of drawers has also been revised. The surfaces are well-maintained, the construction is solid and functional. The interiors show a clean finish and are suitable for everyday use.
Age- and material-specific traces, such as slight tannin discoloration in the wood, are present. These are not defects but an authentic characteristic of the material and its age, and are clearly visible in the close-up images.
The shelf is overall in a stable, solid condition and convinces with a refined, restrained appearance featuring clean lines. A characterful, newly designed original piece of furniture from the 1960s, with honest material expression and timeless presence.
