John Bier (born Santpoort, 17 December 1936) is a Dutch sculptor
and a draftsman.
John Bier moved with his parents to Alkmaar at the age of three, where he still
still lives and works.
From 1954 to 1958 he studied at the Institute for Applied Art Education in
Amsterdam
John Bier creates figurative works in which the human figure plays an important role.
