Description from the seller
Elegant design vase by Rosenthal, produced in the 1950s. The slender, conically tapering form with a smoothly rounded body exemplifies the restrained, era-typical language of post-war modernism.
The decoration features a finely graded grey gradient with a vertically brushed feel, accented by delicate gold lines in the lower area as well as a gilded edge. The combination of restrained color and noble gold accents gives the vase a stylish, almost sculptural presence.
Marked on the bottom with the green Rosenthal mark “Germany” and a model number, confirming authenticity. A characteristic Mid-Century object that presents itself as high-quality both solitarily and in ensemble.
The vase has no chips or cracks. 2 scratches and glaze flaws at the upper neck are documented in the photos.
The item will be wrapped in padding foil and surrounded by bio-styrofoam in a double-walled carton, shipped via DHL.
