Fossil matrix slab - Discosauriscus pulcherrimus

An exceptional and rare fossil of the early reptile-like amphibian Discosauriscus pulcherrimus.
This particular lot is unique because it shows two deceased specimens together on a single natural matrix slab, a rare snapshot from prehistory.

The fossil comes from the famous Boskovice locality, Czech Republic, and dates to the Permian period (approximately 298.9 to 251.9 million years ago).
The natural preservation and the presentation of two individuals on one slab make this a centerpiece for collectors.
