Elegant and precious episcopal mitre in white silk, finely decorated with hand-done ancient gold embroidery. The top features the monogram “IHS” at the center, a traditional Christological symbol, surrounded by floral motifs and ornamental scrolls enriched with small colored stones. Two coordinated hanging bands, also embroidered with floral motifs and finished with golden fringe, complete the ensemble with great aesthetic harmony. Certainly a piece of needlework carried out by the Sisters of Saint Joseph (Naples), experts in the field of liturgical embroidery.
