The bread drum consists of overlapping aluminium segments that slide over each other to form the drum
To open and close, comparable to the armor of an armadillo.
The shade is made of brushed aluminum and rests on a sturdy wooden base.
The design is often attributed to “Mast” design, marked on the side.
This item is no longer available new.
The model is also often compared to the Sydney Opera House.
It still looks very neat.
