Rare and refined large black glass vase by VeArt Venezia, circa 1980, hand blown and worked by Murano glass masters with a diamond-point incised under the base, height 57.5 cm and diameter 22 cm, in good used condition with minor signs of age and stains.

Rare and refined large vase engraved with a diamond point under the base: VeArt Venice, 1980, in black glass, black interior, hand-blown and handcrafted by the Murano glass masters, obtained with the freehand blowing technique, which enriches the space with elegance. Made with high-quality materials for long-lasting durability. Elegant and timeless design, perfect for any type of environment. Information about VeArt VeArt was founded in 1965 by Sergio Billiotti and Ludovico Diaz de Santillana, the latter, in addition to being the founder of VeArt, was the artistic director of Venini (as well as husband of Anna Venini, daughter of Paolo Venini, historic founder of Venini and father of Laura Diaz de Santillana, Venini designer). VeArt produced artistic glass until the early ’90s; during its brief history it had as artistic director Mario Ticco of Venini and established important collaborations with international artists and designers such as Toni Zuccheri, Umberto Riva, Tobia Scarpa and many others. In the 1990s, its brand was acquired and incorporated by the glassworks Artemide. Size: height 57.5 x diameter 22 cm.
