Mid-Century coffee table in polychrome marble
Splendid coffee table dating from the 1950s/60s, a perfect example of Italian Mid-Century Modern design. The piece is distinguished by its refined top in polychrome marble with natural veining in shades of Siena earth, ochre and anthracite gray, featuring a rare and elegant organic 'bean-shaped' or shield-shaped form.
The structure is composed of three tapered legs in dark patinated metal, typical of the period, completed by small brass-gilt feet that give the piece both dynamism and stability. An iconic piece of furniture, capable of adding a touch of vintage class to a modern living room or of complementing a space furnished with antique furniture.
