Two JoyCam Instant cameras, tested and working, in good cosmetic condition, dating to 1990–2000, with a Nikon AF lens mount.
Description from the seller
Lot of two Polaroid JoyCam instant cameras, introduced in 1999 as the most significant and versatile evolution of the 'popshots' series. The lot includes a black version and a metallic blue one, both featuring an ergonomic, rounded design typical of the late 1990s.
these cameras use Polaroid 500 format film (or Captiva), which produced rectangular prints measuring 7.3 x 5.4 cm, slightly larger than I-zone but smaller than classic Polaroid 600. the JoyCam is a fixed-focus 'point-and-shoot' camera with automatic built-in flash and a manual film-ejection system: after the shot, the user had to pull a plastic side ring (visible in orange on the black model) to extract the photo.
Powered by a battery housed directly in the film cartridge, the JoyCam represents an interesting piece of consumer instant photography history. It should be noted that Polaroid 500 film has been out of production for many years, making these cameras collectible items intended for display or for enthusiasts of vintage photographic design. Both cameras are in good cosmetic condition.
