Two classic Polaroid SX-70 instant cameras, models Pronto! and 500, in good cosmetic condition and tested and working.
Description from the seller
lot of two classic rigid (non-folding) Polaroid instant cameras from the SX-70 series, produced in the second half of the 1970s.
Polaroid Pronto! b: launched in 1977, it is a versatile camera with a black body and the front color stripe feature absent in this more sober “b” version. It features a three-element 116mm f/9.4 lens and, unlike the “fixed focus” models, it has a manual focus ring with a distance scale (from 3 feet to infinity), enabling sharper and closer shots. It supports disposable flashbars or dedicated electronic flashes (top mount).
Polaroid Land Camera 500: an essential point-and-shoot model with the distinctive light brown/beige coloring typical of 1970s design. Unlike the Pronto!, this camera has a plastic single-element 103mm f/14.6 lens and is fixed-focus, making it extremely easy to use.
Both cameras use SX-70-type film, which has a lower ISO sensitivity (about 160 ISO) compared with the later 600, thus requiring plenty of light or the use of a flash for indoor shots. They are iconic pieces that made instant photography accessible to the general public before the advent of the 600 series. The cosmetic condition appears good, with the plastics intact.
