A German Zeiss folding 35 mm camera
The camera features a Tessar 1:2.8 f=45mm Zeiss Opton lens, no. 925922.
Still in its original sheath.
Includes 5 original filters additionally, with a separate round small case.

The camera is in good cosmetic condition.

Contessa was the name of a family of 35mm film cameras that were produced in Stuttgart between 1950-1955 (folding) and 1960-1971 (non-folding). The name refers to the Contessa-Nettel factory. These were high-quality rangefinder cameras with a fixed lens. The lens, the Tessar 45/2.8 or 50/2.8, delivered very good photos for that era.
