Beautiful gilded antique incense burner/incense snuffer from France.
Very decorative, featuring three cherub heads.
This beautiful object with many decorations was filled with incense and swung back and forth to spread the smoke and fragrance.
Three chains are attached to the bowl, by which the incense vessel can be carried during the liturgy or hung on the stand.
Furthermore, there is a fourth chain attached to the upper ring.
In good condition for its age, with some minor signs of aging or use.
