Fine hand-painted Herend porcelain covered box in Apponyi Orange (AOG), round with a fitted lid, model 6037/AOG, bearing the 150 Years of Herend anniversary mark (1976) and gold decoration, dimensions 4 cm high, 6.7 cm wide and 6.7 cm deep, weight 86 g, in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.

Fine, hand-painted lidded box from the Herend porcelain manufactory, in the classic Apponyi Orange (AOG) decor. The round form with a precisely fitted lid features the distinctive Apponyi blossom as well as richly applied gold gilding.
On the underside there is the special stamp for Herend's 150th anniversary (1976), the model number 6037/AOG, and a painter's mark. A particularly decorative and collectible gem.
