Rare silver commemorative coin:
A 1994 2,000 peseta coin from Spain is being offered. This commemorative coin features the effigy of King Juan Carlos I. It is a popular collectible among numismatists.
Material: 925 Sterling Silver).
Diameter: 33 mm.
Weight: 18 grams.
Condition: Used but very well preserved. It does not have its original box, but it will be shipped with a box for protection.
Reason: IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings in Madrid.
Obverse: Image of King Juan Carlos I, inscription "JUAN CARLOS I REY DE ESPAÑA" and the year "1994V".
Reverse: It shows the main façade of the Bank of Spain building in Madrid, viewed from the area of the Cybele Fountain.
Legends: The face value is shown at the top: 2000 PTAS.
At the bottom, the inscription: Madrid IMF-WB Assembly.
Security features: To the right of the face value, there is a latent image in the shape of an oval that, depending on the tilt angle, alternately shows the number '94' and the mint mark (the crowned M of the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre).
Logo: The official logo of the IMF and World Bank Assembly held that year is also included.
