This is a splendid ceramic sculpture depicting a snow leopard (or a light-colored spotted leopard), crafted in a style that recalls the great tradition of Italian artistic ceramics from the mid-20th century.

Subject and Pose: The animal is depicted in a regal, alert seated pose. The body is streamlined, with the tail elegantly curling around the base of the hind legs. The gaze is directed upward and slightly to the side, giving the statue a proud and almost human expression.
Coloration and Decoration: The coat is characterized by a glossy ivory-white background, speckled with circular black spots of various sizes that imitate the natural pattern of the feline. Finer details can be seen on the muzzle and around the blue eyes, which add depth to the gaze.
Materials and Finish: This is glazed ceramic fired at grand feu. The finish is extremely shiny, which creates vivid light reflections on the animal's muscular curves, accentuating its dynamic realism despite the static pose.
