Description from the seller
Original 1980s Italian pedestrian traffic light, an authentic piece of urban street furniture repurposed into a decorative lamp with a striking visual impact.
This specimen, designed for road use, preserves all the charm of an antique technical object: a solid metal painted frame, shaped protective visors, and the three classic light sections. It has been carefully rewired for civilian use and equipped with a about one meter electrical cord: once plugged into the power outlet, all three lights—red, amber, and green—light up simultaneously, creating a lighting effect that is suggestive, warm, and decidedly theatrical.
The set combines industrial design, urban memory, and 1980s visual culture, transforming a functional object into a true statement of style. The surfaces reveal the authentic character of the era, with that lived-in patina that tells its street history and enhances its decorative and collectible value.
Perfect for environments with a creative and unconventional vibe: in a teen's room it becomes an original and playful focal point, able to give personality to the space; in a tavern room, a studio, a loft, or a venue with an industrial or urban style it transforms into an iconic, almost sculptural furniture piece, capable of immediately drawing the eye and defining the atmosphere. Also ideal for shop windows, photoshoots, or spaces dedicated to music, gaming, or contemporary design.
A piece that dialogues with architecture and with the city’s collective memory, now reinterpreted as a luminous decorative object of strong aesthetic presence and clear identity.
Proper packaging and trackable shipping throughout Europe.
