Holm Sørensen:
As a craftsman, the Danish designer Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen (1913-2004) had an exceptionally good understanding of the potential of materials and knew how to rethink them. Holm-Sørensen's style as a designer is to this day not only aimed at the Scandinavian market, but also at the international market that shows interest in the distinctive and experimental expression of the designer.
Svend Aage was known for his ability to sketch on almost anything: envelopes, theater programs, even tram tickets, which he used to sketch his vision and bring ideas from his imagination onto paper. This imagination, a wealth of ideas, and his talent made Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen an international star in design and gave him an important role in Danish and international design history.
