Because some of my cameras and lenses are for me collector's items, some of them have never been used with film, I usually mark cameras as "untested." In this case, this body has been used by me (with film, in 2025). Moreover, functions such as the shutter, the rangefinder, the light meter, the mirror, etc. are checked for operation (not for accuracy) and the lenses are judged by eye. The description and the test results often allow me to conclude whether the item can function properly, but I cannot give any guarantee on that.
But they all undergo a battery of tests before they can be put on the market.
These tests are:
- triggering
- film training
- smoothness of the aperture and focus rings
- control of slow and fast speeds by ear and electronically
- control of the movement of the diaphragm blades
- shutter control
- inspection of the battery compartment(s)
- inspection of optical elements (viewfinder and lens)
- assessment of the overall cosmetic condition (with cleaning products) and they are disinfected.
If one of these parameters is not satisfactory, I note it in the observations section below.
OBSERVATIONS :
Nothing to report (tested in 2025).
The items are all inspected and cleaned using specialized products and disinfected.
I prepare and ship your packages no later than the next morning after payment if it is completed before 6 p.m. (on weekdays). Batteries are not included with shipments for safety reasons. Packages will be packaged with the utmost care and with a tracking number.
Shipping costs correspond to delivery to a Mondial Relay pickup point, including packaging and transport. For expensive equipment (worth more than 500 euros), I add insurance fees equal to the value of the equipment, or, of course, at the buyer's request regardless of the purchase amount. If I receive no instructions, I send the package to the pickup point closest to your home address.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
