Hand-painted Herend porcelain reticulated bowl in the Apponyi Orange pattern, with pierced rim and scalloped form; dimensions 7 cm high, 18.5 by 18.5 cm, weight 448 g, model 7404/AOG; made in Hungary circa 1960–1970; very good condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations.

Beautiful hand-painted pierced dish from the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, in the classic Apponyi Orange (AOG) pattern. The elaborately worked, reticulated rim, the scalloped form, and the rich gilding make this piece a particularly decorative showpiece.
The bowl features the characteristic Apponyi floral motif at the center as well as a finely crafted border rim. On the underside are the Herend mark, the model number 7404/AOG, and a painter's mark.
