Art Deco cobalt-blue bowl, presumably manufactured in the Netherlands.

The strong octagonal shape and the stepped-deep center create a pronounced play of light and shadow. In backlight, the deep cobalt blue unfolds as a solid crystal form — a small but convincing statement piece.

The bowl is produced via steel mold pressing, visible in the uniform facets and the stable, flat bottom. The geometric construction reflects the modernist form ideal of the interwar period, in which ornament was replaced by architectural clarity and mathematical structure.

On the underside, a circular factory mark pressed into the glass.
