Salampasu / Kongo
Wrought iron - blade
Steel - still a sharp edge.
With hardened core (sword steel)
Wood handle carved.
Very elaborate leather sheath.
Richly decorated with bamboo strips, leather additionally tooled.
Length: sword blade with handle: 53 cm
The sword comes from an old, private collection.
Approximately mid or late 20th century.
I ship insured only.
No delivery to Switzerland and the USA.
For deliveries to England, the buyer is responsible (customs clearance and fees).
