Roman antique translucent colourless glass flask with a spherical body resting on a flat concave base, a long flaring neck and a beveled rim, measuring 114 x 69 x 69 mm, dating to the 4th–6th century AD, provenance from a Dutch private collection, in excellent condition and associated with Louvre literature (Les verres antiques du musée du Louvre, Tome II, No. 1046).
Description from the seller
Translucent colorless glass bottle featuring a spherical body resting on a flat base but concave at its center. A long neck flaring upward. Beveled mouth with a cut lip and slightly rounded.
The bottle shows a very light yellowish iridescence on the upper part of the neck and partially on the rest of the body..
