Hand-knotted Oriental rug in the classic Bidjar design.

The field is rendered in a warm beige to sand tone and densely woven with fine, geometrically arranged floral motifs. In the center there is a striking, diamond-shaped medallion with stepped contours in beige, olive, rust red, and dark blue. This medallion is framed by a large, likewise diamond-shaped inner field, which gives the rug a clear, strong structure.

The corner spandrels echo the light base theme and are filled with floral ornaments that blend harmoniously into the overall image. The multi-part border shows a classic sequence of floral elements, small rosettes and stylized leaf motifs in beige, olive green, dark blue and rust tones. The overall color impression is calm, balanced and elegant – typical of the tradition-rich Bidjar design.
