Box - Walnut loupe

Superb antique box made of precious wood, probably walnut burl, featuring a magnificent four-leaf decorative pattern arranged in a mirror image.

The grain is particularly spectacular, forming a natural motif that is almost figurative, typical of decorative works of the 19th century under Napoleon III.

The box is in good condition despite cracks running through the old wood.

The wood is a bit warped for the closure, but that does not affect the box; it closes but has no key.
