Bronze Stupa statue from Tibet in late 20th century dynastic style, 18.5 cm high, 9.5 cm wide and deep, weighing 800 g, in good condition.

A stupa (Sanskrit: स्तूप) is one of the oldest and most sacred architectural forms in Buddhism. Originally developed as a funerary monument, the stupa evolved into a powerful symbol of enlightenment and the enlightened mind of the Buddha.
Origin & History:
Originated in India around 500 BCE as burial mounds for the Buddha's relics.
Spread via the Silk Road to Tibet, China, Japan, Thailand, Myanmar
In Tibet, it's known as chorten (མཆོད་རྟེན་)
Adapted to different cultures with local stylistic features.
The stupa is in good used condition with signs of aging. (See photos)
Very fine and detailed.
Carefully packed and shipped insured.
Weight: 800 grams.
