Description
Selling a magnificent set of two miniature mortars with their respective pestles, in genuine bronze, from the workshops of the renowned French sculptor Max Le Verrier.
Parts details:
Mortar 1 (Classic/Gothic Style): Decorated with beaded friezes and acanthus leaves. Equipped with two handles in the shape of animal heads (rams or lions) with movable rings. Signed "L. Verrier" under the base.
Mortar 2 (Capital Style): Architectural form reminiscent of a Corinthian capital with volutes and vegetal motifs. It bears the inscription "La Mutuelle du Mans" under the base, which makes it a rare prestige advertising item. Signed "Le Verrier".
