Description from the seller

Important fine porcelain dinner service by Richard Ginori, produced in the historic Antico Doccia form, one of the most iconic and valued pieces of the Florentine manufactory, inspired by 18th-century models and over time a symbol of classical, timeless elegance.
The service is enhanced by a refined multicolored floral decoration, executed with great painterly delicacy, composed of harmonious floral arrangements in soft and natural tones. The motifs are distributed with balance on the wire and on the brim, creating an elegant and airy effect, perfectly highlighted by the delicate gold edging that follows the undulating profile of the form, imparting brightness and prestige to the whole without appearing excessive.
The Antico Doccia form, with its undulating profile and modeling inspired by classical tradition, lends the service a noble and refined character, making it ideal both for a representative table and as a collectible or display piece.
A particularly prized element is the soup tureen with lid, perfectly coordinated with the service, which completes the set and considerably enhances its collectible value.
On the back is the original Richard Ginori mark, visible in dual green-and-red coloration, a feature detectable in some historical productions of the manufactory. Both marks guarantee the absolute authenticity of the service.

Seller's Story

Vintage ceramics and porcelains are often worked and decorated with masterful precision and delicacy, they are objects of timeless charm, the result of knowledge handed down and widespread. From a historical and cultural point of view, they represent an extraordinary combination of craftsmanship and art, which takes the form of works of rare beauty. An authentic passion that drives me to identify shapes, models and decorations and to identify a possible or certain dating of the objects through a continuous study of sources and archives.
