Tuscan - Coffee set for 6 (21) - bone china

Fine bone china coffee service from Tuscan, England. This factory was founded in the late 1800s in the heart of the English potteries in Staffordshire and became famous in the early 1900s for its porcelain that was very light yet durable, with a clay color tending toward pink called “peach Bloom.” During the 1960s the Tuscan factory was acquired by Wedgwood, also changing the backstamp.

This service was produced between 1947 and 1966 when brand ownership still belonged to the Plant family.
