Superb Bronze Age dagger, cast from bronze and featuring a slender blade tapering to a point with a central, slightly raised midrib. The sides of the hilt are slightly elevated indicating it would have once held a (wooden or bone) grip secured by pins placed through the holes of the handle. Two of the 3 pins are still present.
Length: ± 26,5 cm
Condition: Good and solid condition, restored. The surface shows an appealing olive-green patina and signs of wear consistent with age and use.
Certificate of Authenticity (PDF) is available upon request for all lots with a hammer price of €100 or higher.
