Description from the seller
The Ceretto Barbaresco is a masterclass in elegance and terroir expression, crafted by one of the most prestigious names in the Langhe. Produced from certified organic Nebbiolo grapes, this wine reflects the soul of the Barbaresco and Neive communes.
The 2022 vintage, despite being a warm and dry year, resulted in wines of remarkable concentration and aromatic purity. Ceretto’s expertise ensured the preservation of Barbaresco’s signature freshness, offering a bouquet dominated by wild berries, violets, and subtle spicy undertones. On the palate, the tannins are already silky and well-integrated, making it approachable now while possessing excellent aging potential.
James Suckling 93-94/100 "Excellent purity of fruit and silky, refined tannins."
Robert Parker (Wine Advocate) 92-93/100 "A vibrant Barbaresco with impeccable management of the vintage's heat."
Wine Spectator 92/100 "Notes of ripe cherry and underbrush; a long, persistent finish."
Falstaff 93/100 "Elegant, balanced, and showing great drinkability."
