AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Unique set of 10 plates made with our dripping machine MOCA introduced at Dutch Design Week last October.

The machine drips liquid glaze following a certain rhythm, creating innovative ceramics with a distinct visual language.

Plate : Height: 2cm / Ø19cm.

You can visit: mocatableware.com for more information.
Here is a video of the process: https://youtu.be/RB3Dsnsa-Mg?si=Mk7qRz_dwF92u1Sv

By ordering this set, you will receive exactly those 10 plates of 19cm, ideal for dishes, meals, and desserts. This lot is unique and each pattern is different due to the codes we use and the coloured porcelain we mix for dripping.

The slipcast (ceramic process), finishing touches and glazing are done by hand in our studio in Eindhoven and Nantes.

Body: Porcelain.
Patterns: Porcelain mixed with cobalt oxides and pink pigment,
Glazing: Transparent food-safe glazing.

The plates are dishwasher-proof. However, preferably washed by hand.

Studio JOACHIM-MORINEAU is a design studio founded by Carla Joachim (FR) and Jordan Morineau (FR), based in Eindhoven (NL). Carla and Jordan intend to produce a modern language, at the edge of collectible design and functional objects. They believe having influences from the past creates emotional and visual links with the users. By reflecting on their current design practice and studying more crafts and industrial techniques, they pursue their research for new aesthetics and surprising outcomes.
