Description from the seller
Herend Persil 711 Osier, coffee service for 6 people consisting of 6 cups with saucers, coffee pot and creamer. In fine white porcelain, Osier motif on the edges, light-to-dark green decorations of parsley sprigs hand-painted, salmon-colored rose on the lid of the coffee pot, embellished with gold rims and finishes.
The Persil pattern (dec.PE) is a classic motif from the famous Herend manufactory, inspired by Hamburg parsley, popular in the 19th century and experiencing a strong revival in the mid-20th century. An original combination between the classic shape of the espresso cup (code 711) and the green naturalistic motif, sober elegance for use in both formal and modern settings. The maker’s mark is at the base of each piece. In excellent condition. Hungary, 20th century.
