Description from the seller
Splendid pair of antique column nightstands, made of precious wood (walnut/cherry) dating from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Characterized by a clean and elegant line, these pieces perfectly embody the taste of classic Italian antiques, adapting to historic bedrooms as well as interiors with eclectic and contemporary design.
Main Features:
• Material: Solid wood with visible grain and a warm original patina.
• Structure: Each piece consists of a practical upper drawer and a lower compartment with a swing door.
• Details: Original wooden knobs, solid base with onion-shaped turned feet that give dynamism to the silhouette.
• Condition: good state of conservation. The wood is healthy and the structures are solid; they bear the natural signs of time that attest to their authenticity and enhance their charm.
Why choose them?
These nightstands are not merely furniture, but pieces of history. Their column form, less bulky than traditional models, makes them ideal also as bases for decorative lamps or small entrance furniture in an Art Déco or Vintage context.
In one of the drawers there is very little space where wood is missing, as shown in the photo.
