Description from the seller

2 beautiful cushions handmade with Pierre Frey fabric (1 cushion) and Romo fabric (1 cushion).

Cushion 1: made with Pierre Frey fabrics from the Braquenie collection, on the front fabric "Les rivieres de l'indus" (ref. B7667001 - Jouy), printed with the block-printing technique from the Manufacture Royale d'Oberkampf around 1791, this motif is best known as the Chinese Nesting Pattern. It consists of decorative elements found at the base of the life-tree motifs; back fabric Pierre Frey "Palais des vents" (ref. B7676001) with delicate multicolored embroidery on a beautiful silk satin, this fabric poetically and softly recalls an 18th-century embroidered Indiennes document, kept in the Maison archives.

Front composition: 100% CO
Back composition: 78% LI, 22% VI

Cushion 2: made with Romo fabric "Kensey Sakura" pink (front) and green (back)
Composition: 70% VI, 30% LI

Measurements: 35x60 cm +/-5%

Pierre Frey is a French, creative and eclectic brand, known for its bold and refined fabrics, made with high-quality materials and traditional artisanal techniques. Founded in 1935, the house combines craftsmanship and modernity by blending classic art, contemporary, and distant cultures in a typically French style. A member of the Comité Colbert since 1976, it represents a benchmark of luxury and French savoir-faire.
