A superb and imposing traditional Berber necklace of large size, typical of the tribes of southern Morocco.
A rare ceremonial piece, richly composed of large beads in bright and contrasting colors.
The large yellow beads are Berber amber (phenolic resin), used in Morocco from the mid-20th century to imitate natural amber while preserving its warmth and translucence.
The other beads, smaller and multicolored, are made of natural stones such as malachite, azurite and carnelian, forming a striking contrast with the amber elements.
