Description from the seller
Offered: Charming Green Kodak Petite camera, a beloved model designed in the late 1920s. The design features a colorful art-deco character. The green (but also other colors) version is sought after by collectors of historical photography.
Important:
The folding mechanism moves difficultly, and to prevent damage to the mechanism, this camera is not shipped folded.
Condition
Good vintage condition, age-related signs appropriate for a nearly hundred-year-old piece.
The shutter works and the bellows are in good condition. The diaphragm is adjustable to 4 settings.
A beautiful collectible object or decorative piece with character.
An essential part of the appeal of the Petite was its innovative 'autographic' feature, which allowed users to write a few words directly on the film through a small opening at the back—without a metal pen, which was missing. After developing the film, the written text became visible, adding a unique and personal touch to the photos taken. This special feature significantly contributed to the popularity of the Petite and set it apart from other vintage cameras.
Taking photos are part of the description.
