AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

An exceptional and unique palace bell, very rare and sought after for its master craftsmanship as a goldsmith.
Beautiful floral frescoes depicting flowers as well as a peacock, finely engraved in relief.
The base with its toothed frieze or at each of the four corners a head of an elephant, which is considered a protector of the home and family; it attracts good luck, abundance, and grants longevity and wisdom.
The mahout in the lotus posture (Padmasana); we see him striking the dome.
Beautiful chasing on the entire piece gives it a beauty and an authoritative look that any collector would be proud to possess.
Under the base a key, when turned, winds the spring and, by pressing on the figure’s turban, makes a loud and authentic chime.
Attention: the winding mechanism should be operated gently, but it works very well.
