Description from the seller
Christofle & Cie silver-plated tilting tea kettle and stand. The set was produced in the late 19th century, approximately 1888–1892 in France.
The complete set includes four matching parts: the kettle, the lid, the branch-texture stand, and the spirit burner.
The set features a unique design where the stand and handle are made to look like tree branches.
This is a tilting kettle, meaning it is mounted on pivots that allow it to tilt forward for pouring and set securely in place.
The kettle handle is fitted with a black heat-resistant material (most likely bakelite).
The stand, kettle, and lid are stamped with the serial number 336575, "CHRISTOFLE", the Christofle "Scales and Bee" hallmark with initials "C-C" used between 1862 and 1935.
The kettle is also stamped with "48" and "60," which specify the grams of pure silver applied during the plating process.
