A piece of Mercedes-Benz history. Official/genuine factory drawing of the 300 SL. This is the official market-release document for the model in 1954. The first units would not begin to be delivered to customers until 1955.
The Mercedes 300 SL "GullWing" is an automotive icon of the 1950s. It is considered the first supercar in history, notable for its revolutionary vertically opening doors, a technical necessity derived from its tubular chassis. Its inline six-cylinder engine with direct injection made it a benchmark for technology and performance of the era. Introduced in 1954, this racing-derived model is a symbol of innovation, luxury, and timeless design.
Comes with a black wooden frame and synthetic crystal. Very well wrapped and protected for safe transport until it’s in your hands. The exterior dimensions are 63 x 93 cm with a depth of 3 cm.
